You are not in Kansas anymore! If you want the real deal, no matter what the breed, you will pay for it! A show dog is what it is and you will not buy one in the local paper. If you are one of those that thought otherwise, you have a lot of research to do. People advertise champion bloodline all the time. This is simply a hook for those who just don’t know. Every dog has champion blood in it somewhere in the pedigree if you go back far enough. The key is in the Sire or Dam. One or both should be a champion for a near sure bet. Most breeders do not or rarely show the females. However, this is simply a rule of thumb but for the experienced, you can get a show quality dog by researching the parents and pedigree even if neither were championed. The parents should meet the breed standard. By the way $5000 is not the limit. In reality you will pay $5000 just to import the runt of a litter. Hopefully you would be smarter than that but don’t take my word for it, inquire for yourself! Unfortunately a lot of Americans have done just that and worst yet are breeding those dogs and selling to other people that fall in the same category as they did. This is a fact. You will get crap dogs from crap parents. Don’t be a part of this equation.
